From his studio in San Francisco Gary Bukovnik has filled with his flowers exhibitions in museums and galleries around the world.
Watercolor is his greatest ally to represent the floral theme that identifies him so much. Throughout the history of art, flowers have been a recurring theme for artists, and it extends across all continents and in the Western world from the first botanical studies of the Renaissance to the masters of the 21st century.
Gary Bukovnik's work inherits this tradition, while forging his own unique vision. A positive, fresh and unabashed vision that floods the paper with full color explosions. A slice of eternal spring in each work.
